Cristian Romero serves as Division Director, Assurance at Enpoint Systems, where he leads assurance operations focused on cybersecurity readiness, operational resilience, infrastructure protection, and enterprise defense support across complex technical environments.

 

Cristian brings extensive experience supporting large-scale Department of Defense and Special Operations cybersecurity operations, including enterprise-scale incident response, security operations center (SOC) leadership, endpoint defense, and operational cyber readiness initiatives. Throughout his career, he has supported mission-critical environments spanning 26 global locations, more than 35,000 automated systems, and over 28,000 endpoints within highly structured and high-security operational environments.  

 

Prior to joining Enpoint Systems, Cristian served within Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), where he held leadership roles supporting cybersecurity operations, incident response coordination, and defensive cyber operations. During his tenure, he led and supported the resolution of more than 1,200 cybersecurity incidents, developed automated response workflows that improved operational response times, and helped strengthen enterprise defensive capabilities through endpoint hardening, SIEM analysis, and security automation initiatives.  

 

Cristian’s background includes hands-on experience with enterprise security operations, Splunk Enterprise Security, SOAR platforms, endpoint protection technologies, Sysmon engineering, malware analysis, and operational incident response procedures supporting high-availability mission environments. His experience operating in high-responsibility defense organizations helped shape his operational approach to cybersecurity: proactive assurance, disciplined operational standards, rapid response capability, and long-term infrastructure resilience are essential to maintaining secure and reliable environments.
